Ernest L. Fox is a graduate of the Fisher School of Business of the Ohio State University where he majored in finance. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Hofstra University School of Law in 1983. After practicing law with a firm on Madison Avenue in Manhattan for ten years, he formed his own law firm in 1993.
He merged his firm with the firm of Richard B. Lefkowitz in 2000 to form the law firm of Fox & Lefkowitz, LLP, in which he is a partner. He is admitted to practice in New York State and Federal Court as well as the United States Tax Court and belongs to the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association and Nassau County Bar Association. Mr. Fox teaches law at the Hofstra University business development center and also serves as an Arbitrator for the local courts. He has performed lectures for charitable, business and civic groups. Mr. Fox practices in the areas of real estate law including residential and commercial closings, estate planning, including wills and trusts, probate and estate administration and business law and organizations including the formation and sale of businesses. Mr. Fox is presently recognized as an AARP participating attorney.
